Recorded on analog tape and high definition digital audio and using customized vacuum tube microphone preamplifiers instead of a mixer, Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray mastered, re-sampled to 44.1 kz and dithered to 16 bits so that they can be played on a modern CD player. The result? Yarlung Records has brought out some of the best sounding classical music ever produced!

Analogue Productions (the releasing arm of ACOUSTIC SOUNDS) is releasing 25 primo vintage BLUE NOTE titles on both 45 RPM virgin vinyl AND dual-layer SACD's starting this year. These are some of the best known Blue Notes, mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray from the original Rudy Van Gelder master tapes. Keep an eye out for these!
