Steve, you could put 50 people together and they wouldn't be able to agree on the color of the sky.:sigh:

I absolutely LOVE James Taylor! :righton: That said, I was once evicted from a JT show for urinating on the people next to me. Still not quite sure how that happened...

    Steve,

You and Kevin's Because Music Matters LP of this album is so superior that it is now my reference for ho how this music should sound. And I have heard every US WB pressing if not most of them and many a West German (the West German Green label 46 043 was my reference until your LP was issued). It's warm and friendly like the German LP, has better dynamic range, has superior low bass and treble extension and is still easy to listen to like that German LP. Your AF CD should equally obsolete the fine Target and pre-RE1 CD issue from WB which is flawed but still nice sounding.

Can't wait! Am a huge fan of the WB vinyl reissue and did not hesitate to pull the trigger on the preorder for this one. Thanks for the write up. I will curl up with a growler of IPA and let the vinyl and cd versions spin away. What could be finer?

This will be perfect when paired with piping hot cinnamon apple cider, a blanket, and a crisp fall day.

You would hope they would recall all unsold copies at that point and promptly replace them with corrected copies.

That is a good descriptor. A little rain would work, too. Good for a mellow day inside.

I'll say what some have been wishing for; "Please complete the WB catalog!"(Mud Slid, Marshell said it's may be next, Gorilla, and In the Pocket)

Sorry for stealing the quote from the Heart thread. It made more sense here.

Mind you, 90% would want the sky in MONOchrome.

You're assuming that there were pants involved. Might have been two reasons why MonkeyMan was evicted from the concert. :D

Anyway, I've gone ahead and pre-ordered it form Amazon. I'm sure that my ears will thank Steve yet again for another wonderful job but my pocketbook and wife will curse him and his skills.

Amazon pre-order is in... (along with a pile of other items - it's all for a good cause).

    Cheers,

Any chance of Steve remastering JT's 1976 Greatest Hits for Audio Fidelity? Particularly as it had the then new versions of Carolina In My Mind and Something In The Way She Moves.

I just received word from Amazon that Sweet Baby James is delayed until August 30th. Is there a general delay from Audio Fidelity or is this just an Amazon delay?
