I hope the same and it's 4 for me, the only one I'd add to your list is Deep Purple- In Rock. There are other titles that are prospective, but those 4 are "must own".

    I've already forgotten. :)

I think that one was a very strange choice. If you wanna do some 80's music, do some Stevie Ray Vaughan ... now that would be sweet!

We already have very good sounding SRV CD's with Vic Anesini mastering and great bonus tracks. But the current "Rebel Yell" remaster really awful:( I want the AF version of this great 80's album!

While the Anesini remasters are decent (and yes, I feel that the bonus tracks are absolutely essential), I would bet the farm that Steve could produce MUCH better sounding discs from SRV than what we have now.

Just thought I'd say that I'm suprised you cannot order directly off the Audio Fidelity website. You can print out an order form to mail in, but that's about it. Mail order in this day and age just seems odd.

They sent an email to subscribers a few days ago. New website is coming soon and will include online ordering in some capacity.

That website as whole shows signs of neglect.

No mention of Linda Ronstadt at all and that's the next upcoming release.

    It needs more frequent updates.

We already have 2 SACD's, the MFSL UDII and a Gold Mastersound disc. Adding these to the Anesini remasters I think SRV has been done just fine.

I have all of these discs as well, except for the Mastersound disc. But if Steve were to master say, "In Step", you wouldn't be interested? I sure would!

Or you can call them up. I've had great service doing it that way :righton:

The difference being Rebel Yell ISN'T decent. I have several by SRV and I have have no trouble listening to them. I would also bet Steve could make a much larger improvement of sound with the Idol disc than any Anesini SRV disc. If he does a SRV, I'm there as well.

What is this SRV ? Stevie Ray Vaughn ? That's a Sony label artist. I'm pretty sure AF has no deal with Sony.

Ugh. Now Linda Ronstadt's CD is showing a May 19th release date. Why is it being pushed back so much?

Because it will always happen. It happened to DCC, it happens to MFSL, it happens to Classic, etc. etc.

It's rough, but it reminds me of what my Mom would ask when I'd ask how much longer 'til dinner's served: "Do you want it fast or do you want it good?". And Mom was a helluva good cook. ;)
