Why? All of the Audio Fidelity SACDs were hybrid discs with a Steve Mastered CD layer.

Please let it be the exact configuration of the first CD release:

    Track 14: Unreleased Backgrounds
Track 15: Hang on to Your Ego
    Track 16: Trombone Dixie

And if, for some reason, you want to add "The Little Girl I Once Knew" and "Let Him Run Wild," I won't complain.

And if there's any extra Linda material, I really won't complain.

From what was said on another thread, the D/A converter is better, so the sound should be even better. :)

Was the DCC the original Wilson/Britz mix also?

Of course. All version were the original Wilson/Britz mono mix save for the 90's remix and 4.0 mix from a few years back.

School's Out sounds HOT! Hopefully, it will include a pair of fire resistant panties like those included in the original vinyl. Oh by the way, make mine pink.

To be honest, I must say that I'd be MUCH more excited to see "Love it to Death" or "Killer" being done. I always thought that "School's Out" was the weakest album by the original Alice Cooper Band, with the exception of "Muscle of Love".

    Great stuff! :righton:

A nice ray of hope in this current fog of horrible commercial mastering.

Since there's many WEA titles being licensed, see if the rights are available to do the whole Genesis catalog.:D

Audio Fidelity would sell bucket-loads of them.

Fantastic! This is my big chance to get "Pet Sounds" in a true audiophile form, only own 1990 Capitol CD and the remaster...

A big Thank You to our host!

    I was thinking this...

14: Trombone Dixie (unreleased 1966 Brian/Chuck mono mix)
15: Hang on to Your Ego (Brian solo vox)
16: Hang on to Your Ego (with group backgroud vox)

I think most of the titles Steve mentioned are Capitol/EMI releases. Not WEA.

    Well maybe Alice is WEA.
