New Audio Fidelity Gold CDs:Doors, Beach Boys, The Band, Alice Cooper, Cars, Ronstadt

Oh wow, I haven't heard that album in years...I need to snag me a copy on cd.

 

Thanks for the news, Steve. Take your time and be satisfied with the results of your work. And when the time comes for when the pre-orders get announced, I'll get all 4 of them. All of them happen to be ones I'd like to have.

 

I'm keeping fingers crossed for the rest of the VH catalog, or at the very least, a gold disc of Fair Warning.

And please, retain the jewel box packaging we've come to expect from DCC/Audio Fidelity. Not that I wouldn't buy them anyway, but still...

I have to think about what else I'd like to see now that AF is back!

Interesting titles - things seem to have loosened up a bit on the licensing front. That Cooper set is at the top of my list...

 

Steve has mastered Creedence and the Zombies twice to my knowledge...

Honestly, I would be happy with just "Hang on to Your Ego", like the DCC gold

I just heard from an authority that Levon's are an uneq'ed safety copy.

Still, it will be nice to have the best possible CD of this title.

I was in 10th grade when it came out - bought it the first week.

I would faint if it got the AF treatment.

 

'School's Out,' cool...but I'd like to have 'Constrictor' instead.

 

I'll be wanting all of these of course. If Capitol is the company you'll be working with, any chance of more McCartney discs? I'm still amazed at the first solo McCartney album.

Glad to see that so many of us are happy about the Alice Cooper.

I recall Alice coming up quite a bit during the Audio Fidelity Forum days and IIRC Marshall wasn't that enthused about the idea.
