Well, I wasn't expecting to see this thred when I logged on this morning!

I've pre-ordered at hmv, as the price is good. I wonder if, nearer the time, they will release all of them in some kind of limited edition collectors box?

I wonder when Apple will get around to issuing a press release? It's not really like them to have someone else let the cat out of the bag.

Hopefully these will sound reasonable - surely Jeff Jones will insist on that. At least now we know what he's been doing!

Ok, before we all get toasted too far and start pulling out the Beatle wigs Ill throw out a probably dumb but semi-serious question.

IF.. and it looks to be...the remasters so far are going to be in stereo what would be the reason they would do this? Why not mono too? Public acceptance? More mixing options? Other reasons?
