  3. I'm getting a contact high just looking at the JPG of that cover. I wonder if I'll have to pick seeds out of it.

Wanted to see them at SXSW, but it just didn't work out. OTOH, I did see Mascis sitting in with Earthless and then hanging out on Sunday afternoon at the guitar show.

Cool video of them working "in the studio." Can't wait to hear the new album and see them live again! :goodie::cool:

I hope they come back to Australia soon too.... Great live band..

My ears are bleeding, but I like what I'm hearing so far. The song 'I want you to know' is really catchy and rocks hard. The others are pretty great too. What an amazing band

Louder.... this is up to 12...and the lack of dubly makes for ear bleeding highs! :righton:

Seriously though, this is louder than the "Raw Power" cd... I'm not kidding..

But... back to the album, it's amazing :) Incredible how they were away for so long, and came back with two albums that are as good as their original stuff.

How does this compare to "Beyond" ??

I'm a big Lou Barlow fan.. not a big Dinosaur fan.

Instantly moves into #2 on my fave Dino Jr. record list... seriously great. I'm blown away that they were able to recreate (and exceed) the magic a second time since the reunion of the original line-up.

I got the vinyl at the weekend and can say without any shadow of a doubt that it is the loudest album i have ever heard by quite some distance over my 1000 or so vinyl albums. I had to turn it down about 5 notches on the dial from my other vinyl releases.

    Music is great though.

Wow. Glad I went the cheap route and got the mega-loud 2cd!

  24. So is this loud as in wide dynamic grooves, or just loud in the sense that the music has been crushed? I assume the latter of couse, but what the heck.

Will be picking this up later today, assuming I can get the 2CD version locally - brickwalled sonics or not!
